I don’t care about investors making their money back. ChatGPT did a good enough proof of concept. They can go out of business now, that would be fine. Now, Mistral or DeepSeek or somebody can put out open weights models. The existing frameworks are good enough to act as very nice autocompletes, coding buddies, or writing style nitpickers. Or probably they could make more interesting video game NPCs.
