What behavior precisely do you think is hiding in quantum region? I'm on board with Hofstadter's strange loops but at most, quantum-level interaction should just amount to noise that is stabilized by the higher-order chemical region in which the brain operates. What even are we looking for at this point? What aspect of my experience is not likely to just be a result of chemical interactions in the brain?
