It's just tech, everything doesn't have to become some weird religion that you beat people over the head with, or gamble the entire stock market on. Hear hear. The behavior and rhetoric of genAI companies and the visible executives and evangelists of genAI is incredibly creepy and off-putting. That, combined with companies trying to forcibly shove it down everybody's throats, sends up enormous red flags for a very large percentage of people, both tech-oriented and not.
