How can we discuss <any given topic> if we are talking about different things?
- IanCal 1y agoWell that's rather the point - arguing about exceptionally heavily used terminology isn't useful because there's already a largely shared understanding. Stepping away from that is a huge effort, unlikely to work and at best all you've done is change what people mean when they use a word.
- bcrosby95 1y agoThe point is to establish definitions rather than argue about them. You might save yourself from two pointless arguments.
