- Taikonerd 1y agoInterestingly, it's not a totally new drug. It's an extended-release version of the existing hair-loss drug minoxidil.
- jackolantern14 1y agoAlso interesting that it's at a much higher dose than would be typical for the fast release oral version of minoxidil. 8.5mg twice daily vs 5mg once daily.
- peterlk 1y agoDoes this target any particular area? Or does it make people more hairy everywhere? If it targets a particular area, can anyone explain to me how scientists discover such specific pathways?
- jackolantern14 1y agoIt's the same drug used in Rogaine, but oral form. Grows hair everywhere to some degree.
- exabrial 1y ago> well tolerated, with no serious or cardiac side effects reported. Thats what I was looking for! some of drugs are just not worth the risk
