- yunyu 1y agoThe goal of most companies is to maximize returns to shareholders, not society or employees. If it wasn't that I wouldn't have invested.

- bcrosby95 1y agoIt's part of the social contract. Corps and limited liability don't have to exist - they aren't some natural thing, they are something we made up because its useful to society. Once it stops being useful we can axe them.
- terminalshort 1y agoConsidering he paid to be a shareholder, and the company is paying the employees to be there, that makes sense.
