For all Charlie Chaplin's success in fighting Hitler (who somehow sustained The Great Dictator and kept on going), it took a large contingent of regimented, drilled men--one might say cannon fodder--to defeat him conclusively.
- lioeters 1y agoThat's true, the winners of the last world war also turned out to be brutes poisoned with greed, who treat men like cattle and cannon fodder. What I find amusing is the possibility that Hitler watched the film, The Great Dictator. Supposedly he watched it twice! He must have been furious.
