- jim-jim-jim 1y agoParis was the cultural shot in the arm I needed. All the stores in Australia only stock RBG biographies and diaspora navel-gazing with titles like "The Grapes My Mother Squeezed." I don't know if it's on the map, but there was a little place in the 5th or 6th or so called "Autodidact" which had so many tomes of bizarre art that you'd never chance upon at a gallery here. I imagine the literature is similarly adventurous, but I don't parler the language it's printed in.
