Likely there will be people involved at various levels (sales might still be staffed with charismatic folks), but the driver will be an algorithm. And the driver of this corporation is survival of the fittest under the constraints of profit maximization, the algorithm we have designed and enforced. That's how you get paperclip maximizers. What gives this corporate cyborg life is not a technical achievement, but the law. At a technical you can absolutely shut off a cybo-corp, but that’s equivalent to saying you can technically shut down Microsoft. It will not happen.
