first time I've clearly heard that, "hallucinations are just errors." Why are AI errors anthropomorphized like that?
- signa11 1y agoall chat-bot interactions are (anthropomorphized), this is no different. the parallels to eliza are just too striking. see this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ELIZA#Eliza_Effect https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ELIZA#Eliza_Effect for example. i guess that says a lot about us than about the technology. though exactly what, i am not so sure...
