Title is misleading. In your second link, it could be seen that Dashrath Manjhi carved using two hands.
- DanBC 14y agoHands are people who work with their hands; thus "hired hands" are hired workers, or hired sailors. These uses have existed for over 300 years. There is one person working, thus a single hand. (Albeit that single hand has two hands.)
