Ask HN: Are 'Comments' section in personal websites/blogs useful?
Hi HN,
While trying to add a feature enabling comments on my website, I was wondering whether it's useful to have comments by strangers on your posts, and what do you think? Does your blog/website have comments section at the end, and if yes, how has that served you or your blog? If not, why do you think it's not worth it?

- JohnFen 1y agoIt depends on the blog. Comments are a critical part of mine -- as with HN, the value is in the conversations among readers. But that's not universal. There are lots of blogs where that isn't the focus, and commenters aren't so important.
