- OutOfHere 1y agoNot that I know of. In fact, in the past several years, the FDA went out of its way to approve various useless, even harmful, drugs for Alzheimers that cause significant brain bleeds and don't fix anything. These drugs were rooted in the fraudulent and failed beta-amyloid theory. It was known in informal circles for over a decade that this particular theory didn't make sense. Moreover, these drugs have astronomical costs, with their use effectively denying others from legitimate treatments by using up the insurance dollars.
