This really helped plus all the other comments as well. I am still going to advocate software since that's something I am passionate about but I might actually reconsider writing all of my software open source.
Like I wonder if sometimes writing a software and then publishing it and then donating the money could be more beneficial of sorts and advocating for source and helping anyone to learn anything they want/help them along the way as well.
(Side note but I will create some articles about some stuff as well, will need to do work on my writing!)
What are your thoughts?

People like you also inspire me to believe in its future. > I might actually reconsider writing all of my software open source. This sounds really promising. I recommend GPLv3 or, better, AGPLv3 license to make sure that anybody making changes to your software will have to share them, too.
