To be honest, for me it's the opposite, judging by the developer's comments in other threads about the topic. He's not as nice as his responses in this one would suggest. Edit: Just some examples to not make empty statements. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45540077 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45540077 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45540140 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45540140 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45542425 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45542425 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45538639 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45538639 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45540093 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45540093 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45540824 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45540824 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45539376 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45539376 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45539942 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45539942 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45539821 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45539821

Wow. This is far in excess of "Torvalds hazing" and lands solidly into the "you are uninvited to my next project" bucket, at least for me. I thought that @photomatt taught everyone that drama-as-PR doesn't ever, ever work. Guess some people missed the message...

likening this to photomatt - who has been doing shady, extortionate, illegal stuff for 10+ years, and then actively spent 4+ months doing everything he could to ruin himself and wordpress - is laughable

I get the trolly natural of your response. But please point at anywhere in that five hours any of this about me. What do I get out of this beyond pushing hypermedia forward? Whoever you are mad at it is not me and I hope you can find peace. I choose in my own fork of my own framework to license new scratch code different from old that was deprecated. I choose to have the new code fund things like a conference is even tuition for one of our dev for college that are antipatterns. I haven't made a dime. Please show me what anyone has taken from anyone.

You are the CEO of company that works in the hypermedia space. You are starting flamewars with other companies/projects in the space. It's blunt and obnoxious. No need to put on a mask in some threads or interviews we've all seen your real face. Nobody needs people like you in steward ship of projects. I would love to see you play the nice guy in a room with potential sponsors must be hilarious.

I'm the CEO of literally nothing. You clearly do understand anything about this space. I looked through your comments and your behavior and lack of positive dialogue on literally any subject is telling. I'm the same person all the time, have a live video call and stand by your comments. Feel free to expose me, I welcome it.
