Nue 2.0 Beta released! The Unix of the web
- ksec 1y agoCan someone ELI5 what Nue is in terms of its competitor?

- dalmo3 1y agoAI slop really doesn't help get you point across.
- jzellis 1y agoThis looks great, but my current app is entirely written in and designed to run on Node. Pity, because I'm currently preplanning the frontend and was trying to decide if I was gonna use a framework and which one. I would prefer a minimal one like this, but the Bun thing is probably a dealbreaker. Good luck though! It looks great!
- tln 1y agoI'm in a similar boat on a side project: I picked pico-vue and I've hit many issues. But I'm not going to switch to bun for this, so it'll have to wait for a greenfield project
- mpaepper 1y agoThis seems awesome, will try.
- brazukadev 1y agoCongratulations on the launch, nuejs is a breath of fresh air.
- yencabulator 1y agoThe UNIX way is not "all your tools are part of the same software package".
- naasking 1y agoUNIX has a bunch of standard tools actually, that's what made it UNIX. How is this any different?
- popalchemist 1y agoSeems like a bad way to brand this for a number of reasons. Bad comparison from a technical POV for those who know, bad comparison from a marketing POV for those who don't.
- ASalazarMX 1y ago"The GNU Utils of Javascript Web development" wasn't as catchy.
- siduck 1y agothe dev server feels so fast
