Impolite LLM prompts consistently outperform polite ones

- al_borland 1y agoWhen I get short with the LLM it is usually due to it already failing. Getting rude makes it do a good job apologizing, but it doesn’t seem to understand what it is apologizing for, and keeps getting it wrong. Should I be starting off rude? That doesn’t sound like something I want to train into myself.
