  Juliaup can now install PR builds IIRC, so having someone make a PR that just changes the Makefile to do this BOLT based build would be an option too. Less potentially disruptive than making it the default straight off, while still being much more convenient to the user than having to do custom compilation.

    PR builds don't work on macos unfortunately.

      These BOLT builds are Linux-specific anyway, so that doesn't matter in this case.
