I'd be very surprised if this ever gets fixed. I think it's more likely that people just increasingly communicate through different channels as our "phones" become less and less useful as phones. The only people that I regularly talk to on the phone are my parents. Almost every inbound call I receive is spam, but they all get auto-screened and blocked. If you call me and you're not in my phone, I will not pick up. You can leave a message w/ the AI (and then I probably still won't pick up).
- rstuart4133 1y agoIt has been fixed in Australia. I used to get a lot of spam phone calls and SMS's. Now, almost none. If it can't be fixed in the USA, it isn't because of the reasons you give.
- lunias 1y agoI didn't give any reasons it can't be fixed. Of course it can be fixed. I just don't really expect them to fix it. It's been decades and they still can't get it done.
