Maybe someday we will grow so tired of AI, that people will leave social media entirely. The most interesting thing about social media, the ability to build real human connections, is quickly becoming a relic of the past. So without that, what is left? Just slop content, rage bait.

- deadbabe 1y agoNot really. We might not be in the golden era of human connections, but you can still find people out there that think the same way somehow and are off grid from social media.
- WorldPeas 1y agoThis is already happening in my immediate surroundings, friends that have long complained of phone addiction are now feeling more able to act on it as it isn't this oasis of escape for them anymore. My only comment there is that they were not ready/didn't remember how bad t9 was for alphabetical inputs, even nostalgia can't cover that unfortunate marriage of convenience.
