I think this one fits here:
"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."
- DonHopkins 1y agoSounds like an excuse for how stupidly the Trump administration is acting, but it's actually an extremely toxic combination of malice plus stupidity. You don't have to be smart to be malicious. Occam's razor says "why not both?"
