Thanks for your advice! The key differences between our platform and Italki are: 1) We focus specifically on Korean experts, and 2) We plan to match users with experts in all kinds of Korean fields, not just language — including K-pop, dance, travel, culture, Korean job consulting, and more. (If you have any suggestions for other fields that might be interesting, I’d really appreciate your ideas!) Do you think this concept still has a strong value proposition? If so, what would be the most effective way and place to promote such a platform globally?

Definitely keep getting feelers out, it seems like a tough market! But it may very well be worth it if you can find the right audience.

    TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, and here I imagine. Beyond that, I don't have experience with marketing. I'm in a similar position in fact: when I launch my product, I'll be figuring all this out myself as well.
