Seems really wacky that dude got blocked. That’s pretty extreme.
Blocking someone for being annoying? Sure, whatever.
Blocking someone for trying to make a contribution even if it was unwanted? Seems excessive and unhealthy to me.

I am not in the tiniest bit surprised that sometimes moderation makes a mistake, whether human error or automated error.
