- Centigonal 1y agoThis is in vitro (i.e. in a "petri dish," not in a lab animal or a human being). It's a very very cool idea, but there's a lot of work left to be done to turn something like this into an efficate and safe drug. Plus, a biologic like this would only work if it's active in your body when you're being infected with the virus. - Bender 1y agoWhat impact would this potential future antagonist have on existing drugs that tinker with ACE2 such as blood pressure drugs? I ask because a lot of people are on such drugs.
