The article mentions that the "flaw had to be triggered 185 times in the exploit code in order to overcome some of the vulnerability’s limitations".
How long would that take to trigger through the NFC interface?
- bduerst 14y agoWith a Galaxy Nexus it takes a 1-3 seconds for the NFC interface to ping another source, receive/process a tag, and then "ding" to confirm NFC contact.
- sp332 14y agoThe flaw is not triggered over NFC. The payload is uploaded once, and the payload executes the exploit repeatedly (locally) until it works.
