The only candidate that promised to bring back their control & domination of the masses was Trump & that's why they supported Trump. Both parties are fundamentally the same but at least democrats make some concessions for the little people & the new billionaire technocrats don't like that so they poured a lot of money into Trump's campaign to make sure he would be the winner.
