- filloooo 1y agoHe meant China, the usual suspect for many other social problems in Japan according to many internet gurus, was promptly named the culprit of the ongoing nation wide rice shortage and price speculation, because some of them were found to be reselling their rice stocks on Chinese social media, and mysterious Chinese were buying directly from local rice farmers sidestepping the farmers association that controls all national agricultural trade.
