Even this is a charitable description of what they did. It seems like it was more of a data exfiltration play, forcing their way into agencies' IT departments with armed thugs and scraping data to be joined and shared with ICE, etc. Possibly the Russians if that one whistleblower is to be believed. I don't think the EU needs anything of the sort!
