Because a primarily french-speaking African country is … ? I am not sure what is your point. Also Mauritius has significant British heritage, they even drive on the “wrong” side of the road.
- SideburnsOfDoom 1y agoI've interacted with dev teams in Mauritius. The dev culture was more Indian than it was anything else. It's not all that that distant from India actually, if you disregard the open water between them. Wikipedia has Mauritius as ethnically "67% Indian"
- guywithahat 1y agoI don't speak french and don't have any African family/friends. Sorry I didn't mean this as some insightful analysis of the country, just my specific needs. Really interesting job and location.
