Taiwan will not agree to 50-50 chip production deal with US, negotiator says
- leakycap 1y agoTaiwan needs continued strong US political support in the region - so I don't see them as having a very strong position to negotiate, unfortunately
- JohnFen 1y agoMaybe. But protecting Taiwan is a critically important thing if, as it seems the administration is doing, you're planning for war with China. The administration may not have a very strong position to negotiate either.
- madhacker 1y agoU cannot negotiate with a bully administration. If u give in they will keep raising the extortion fees.
