- bigyabai 1y agoLunduke is banned in HN submissions and an obvious flamebait source. You can find better context without resorting to his nonsense "culture war" framing.
- SilverElfin 1y agoAttacking him as a “flamebait” source is basically hiding from the truth. The labels you’re using like “nonsense” or “culture war” is just a not-so-subtle way of trying to bury the injection of left biased politics into that space, which he covers truthfully and in detail.
- bigyabai 1y agoI'm not the one who flags him, HN does. If you think HN is "hiding from the truth" by doing so, email dang at hn@ycombinator.com to ensure Lunduke's opinions are protected from unfair scrutiny. However, in this instance I concur with HN and what seems to be the majority of the users here. Lunduke produces no actionable suggestions and stimulates no important discourse. He deliberately avoids due-diligence, ignores integral details and is justifiably dismissed as a second-class source in pretty much every domain of computer science. If you're still willing to make a case for him, please do. It's just not the kind of politicized blogslop that HN typically rewards, regardless of what your politics are.
