My friends all know that one of my favorite edicts in response to their frequent pet complaints is, "I don't have that problem with my dog". Because I have an imaginary dog. I grew up with dogs and I have no problem with them --- I just prefer that they belong to someone else. It offers me more time, money and freedom to enjoy life on my terms.
