Wouldn’t it be easier to use Firefox or Safari? Chrome is a hog but it’s not like we don’t have multiple great alternatives which also use something like half of the battery and don’t oppose privacy measures.
- Forgeties79 1y agoNot my computer, I’m not going to say “don’t like your computer? Change browsers.” They returned it, got a little more ram, and they’re happy now. I don’t know what their use case is that in-depth so I’m not going to tell them to completely change their browsing habits and usage unless they are open to that. $200 later they were happy. Given the field they are in, I imagine they use chrome like many do for compatibility/testing reasons
