E.g. follow SOLID, use constructor injection, avoid mutability, write dual tests, use explicit typings (when applicable) etc. Though the models are remarkably bad at design, so that provides just a minor relief. Everything has to be thoroughly reviewed and (preferably) rewritten by a human.
