Check the charts for price since 2020. It looks like IPv4-block prices almost tripled 2020-2021. Then seem to have been in gradual decline since then. I'm rather surprised.
- hylaride 1y agoIPv6 is now pretty standard, especially on cellular networks and in Asia. There are still some ISP holdouts (including Bell Canada’s fiber networks which is apparently finally in beta-testing for consumer IPv6) and many corporate networks that are still ipv4 only, but because all the big CDNs and cloud vendors now support it, the demand for IPv4 has plateau’d.
