Not directly. The only two filters I apply to my comments are: Is this self-evident? Is this disrespectful of the community? If the answer to either question is yes, then I try not to post. I find myself not always using these filters on other websites where the quality is lower to start with. I suspect that goes a long way towards explaining the decline in quality on most social sites (an online version of the broken windows theory?)
