I wish there were an option to cancel a currently running prompt midway. Right now, pressing Ctrl+C twice ends up terminating the entire session instead.

I wish there were an option to cancel a currently running prompt midway. Right now, pressing Ctrl+C twice ends up terminating the entire session instead.

- cesarvarela 1y agoAdding to the press Esc comments, if you press it twice, you can revert to previous messages in the current conversation.
- turnsout 1y agoI'm always watching Claude Code as it runs, ready to hit the Escape key as soon as it goes off the rails. Sometimes it gets stuck in a cul de sac, or misunderstands something basic about the project or its structure and gets off on a bad tangent. But overall I love CC.
