I am absolutely convinced as well that this a huge factor behind younger generations not drinking as much, at least not in public. One night of fun going bad would have been forgotten in the 90s, now it could very well cost you your job or schooling. Heck forget drinking, these days there's always someone nearby who's ready to upload your worst moment to Tiktok, so don't you dare have mental health issues either.
