Yeah we offered resoldering for a while but after Apple started replacing them there was no point. The settlement was in the US, so that is probably why it didn't apply in the EU. Kind of surprising really. I don't blame you for being upset, the fact that neither party could come to an agreement and left consumers to pound sand was terrible. Apple should have just replaced them while the lawsuit was pending.
