  Could be either to keep using AI or to give up AI all together, we will never know. This man should probably be a poet.

  He is saying that theres a massive group of people declining to use AI, or writing blog posts about why it is bad, and that is a competitive advantage for people who will use them. The assumption he is making is that the tools are good, and that the tools will eventually be used by everyone. So the competitive advantage is time limited. He is largely correct, although I think productivity gains are overblown.
