So is there anything that keeps people from getting home solar in a state with high utility prices and high gas prices?

- willis936 1y agoInflated costs due to over-regulation, high interest rates. People don't have $100k sitting around, especially people looking to cost optimize their commute.
- AtlasBarfed 1y agoA hundred thousand? For home solar? In the state with a direct line to Chinese panels? In a liberal state that is desperate to get carbon neutral? Where you have fantastic year round sunlight?
- willis936 1y agoYep. BOM is about $40k, but the barriers to DIY are artificially raised. There is nothing complicated about these systems. It's a buck, BMS, inverter, and load switch.
