Ask HN: Private Discords – Invite Only
Hello I am looking for Private Discord servers with KYC for founders and engineers.
Kind of tired of the enshitified social media apps with people hiding behind anonymous usernames. I am looking for deeper connection to my beliefs and the role I work in. Also good conversation never gets old.

- kaicianflone 1y agoKYC - I feel like anonymity degrades community.
- pestatije 1y agoKYC - Know Ur Customer
- kaicianflone 1y agoNot the right word probably but I mean at least LinkedIn verification. Anonymity has become too dehumanizing for me to participate in with dignity.
- alex77456 1y agoJust use linkedin at that point? Or write some userscript to hide HN comments from people without contact info in their profile. 'Dignity' is the last word i expected that sentence to end with
- kaicianflone 1y agoI get it, maybe my standards are too high. But that's the filter I need.
