I think you can build a broader network of colleagues and will be exposed to a wider range of ideas while pursing a PhD. That being said, a PhD is a long haul

I think you can build a broader network of colleagues and will be exposed to a wider range of ideas while pursing a PhD. That being said, a PhD is a long haul and a lot of work. The good news is that you can always leave after getting a masters.
