Y'all gonna do something about this or are you still waiting it out?
- slater 1y agomid-term elections next year, maybe we can get some adults back in power
- FranzFerdiNaN 1y agoLets not pretend that this government will allow the Democrats to win those elections. They are going to do anything they can to fuck with the results.
- slater 1y agoThey always do. I can only hope (and yes, that's a Planck-length-width sliver of hope) that the dem votes will be too overwhelming to ignore/fuck-with. Yes, I know.
- ViewTrick1002 1y agoWill there be a midterm? Will the national guard prevent and/or interfere with the elections in cities controlled by the Democrats where they are being deployed ensuring the "correct" outcome?
- area51org 1y agoWhat would you propose? Donating money to blackhole political organizations? Taking to the streets? None of that, or much of anything else, will "do something about this". There is no doing anything about this. It's also just meaningless posturing, just another tantrum by a man-child.

- Palomides 1y agodo not, under any circumstances, RSVP to a protest
- pluc 1y agoIf only there was a clause in your constitution that you hold particularly dear and deals with tyrannical governments. Either that or wait 3 years, show's just as entertaining for the rest of us.
- bigyabai 1y agoWhat's the pay like?

- next_xibalba 1y agoWhat do you suggest be done?
- pluc 1y agoThe same thing you would do if this were to happen in the middle east. Or do you only fight for "democracy" abroad?
- esseph 1y agoThat's only a handful of the poor, the rest became software devs after they left the coal mines and auto manufacturers/s
- M95D 1y agoWill fight for democracy anywhere there's oil to be extracted. They're busy preparing for Venezuela now.
- next_xibalba 1y agoWhat would you do if this were to happen in the middle east? I'm not understanding what you're implying.
- pluc 1y agoI wouldn't do anything, my country doesn't have a Department of War, a war economy, a military industrial complex or the right the bear arms and form a militia to overthrow tyrannical governments.

- k33n 1y agoThose who have a problem with it can vote for Democrats, I guess. Elections do have consequences.
- FranzFerdiNaN 1y agoThat only works if elections can be considered fair and square. With this government the chance they will try to turn it into something more like a Russian election is way above 0%, and most likely will reach about 100%.
