- jama211 1y agoI also ask this as a rationalist technique, the moment you ask “what outcome would you actually put money on” people suddenly get far more realistic about how confident they actually feel. You get a whole lot less “oh they’re DEFINITELY gonna fail/succeed!” type hyperbole when money is on the line.
