- jandrewrogers 1y agoMy understanding is that it didn’t provide much practical benefit that could justify the cost. I was interested at the time but the zeitgeist was that no one could come up with a scenario where it was worth it. Most of what hardware STM provided could be achieved by designing the software better.
- RossBencina 1y agoClojure has transactional memory primitives. I've no idea how often they are used.
