- sjwright 14y agoAm I the only one who has no problem with being frisked? I don't think there's any safety concerns with these machines but I'd much rather be frisked than have a digital image captured and potentially used for whatever. I'm often frisked at Singapore Airport, but they've never once actually pulled something out of my pockets even when there's something obviously in them. They are looking at my reaction.
- pavel_lishin 14y agoI dislike being frisked, too, but I find it a better alternative. I just think of it as a complimentary massage.
- viraptor 14y agoI keep smiling at them which makes them uneasy ;)
- ZoFreX 14y agoMy thoughts exactly. When they first brought these things into the UK they said the machines weren't even capable of retaining images. Soon afterwards there was a scandal because staff had been saving them, and they shifted the goalposts to say staff weren't supposed to save them - which is an entirely different prospect.
