  Oh but they did and they do. There are absolutely massive offshore centers for Big Tech in India and also Eastern Europe. People from these places will then either stay in their countries or go non-US destination. It's not a coincidence Microsoft is run by an Indian. More and more of the talent pool is coming from abroad. And particularly international companies care little where their work is done, as long as it improves the bottom line.

    If this is true, when all this incredible talent is forced to stay in India their GDP should shoot up.

      Don’t worry about India’s GDP: growth has averaged above 5% over the last 20 years.
