- gravitycop 18y agoits possible that the 35 people represent an equally high or higher percent relative to the number of drivers in the category Yes. More data is needed. In addition, the typical sport-touring rider is a different kind of person (tends to be older and more mature; more likely to wear a helmet; etc.; see IIHS link above for data) and does a different kind of riding. However, the 35 figure represents less than 1% of the total - a suspiciously low percentage, in my opinion, given the quietness of that type of motorcycle.
