- heyitsnick 14y agoJust gave this a try and it looks very nice, you have a new customer. Question, how do I remove my own tweets from the mentions inbox? Would entering my twitter URL as a blocked URL work? spelling mistake on the windows GUI: "Personnal Settings", bottom of 'edit alert'
- jfoucher 14y agoTo remove your own tweets from your results, click on the "forbiddden" sign ("Block mentions from") in the rightmost panel while you're viewing one of your tweets
- suavepenguin 14y agoYou should add it as a tool =)
- jfoucher 14y agoI didn't know I could do that :) Done! http://whattouse.com/tool/mention http://whattouse.com/tool/mention
- suavepenguin 14y agoOkay, this app is awesome! Thanks for sharing! One thing though, is there no option for "as it happens" email alerts?
- jfoucher 14y agoWe're actually working on that, but the desktop notifications are pretty good if you use the desktop app. On chrome you can get notifications as well, if you give your authorization.
- jmitcheson 14y agoNinja bug report. I installed it but couldn't log in with my Google account. I clicked "Sign up with your Google account", completed the Google accounts popup, and then the Google accounts popup was happy and it went away, but then nothing happened in the Mention window..
- jfoucher 14y agoThanks for the report. It should display a modal window asking you to confirm your email address. Were you logged in to several google accounts at that time? Would you mind trying again and letting me know what the web inspector console outputs? thanks!
- jmitcheson 14y agoYeah I am logged into 3 google accounts. I tried again, and there is nothing in either the console or the network tab after I finish the google login window. It's like it just isn't communicating with the other window.
- zalew 14y agoyou got some css bug http://i.imgur.com/bVpZt.png http://i.imgur.com/bVpZt.png (firefox)
- moondowner 14y agoI'm on Firefox nightly, look OK on my side.
- bluetidepro 14y agoThis seems to be really broken for me on OS X 10.8.1. It froze up when I tried to create an account and now it just freezes up on app launch. I like the idea of this app, though! Really hope I get it running and try it out! :)
- bluetidepro 14y agoNever mind. Looks like it was just a hiccup with your site status. All seems to be working now!
- webwanderings 14y agoNice website and service. +1 for providing desktop version as well. I'd hope to see Firefox add-on too!
- suavepenguin 14y agoI've replaced Google Alerts w/ your lovely app on the Web Site Launch Toolkit. This is a perfect example of why I created What To Use...to find out about great apps like this one!
